When Thomas Wayne was offered a D.J. position in California he wanted to change his name to something exotic & simple. He decided on China Smith, after an old TV crime detective. China worked at KCBQ & many other radios stations in California & had one of the best voices in radio history. KCBQ will be having a reunion on August 28, 2010.
