WFIL Philadelphia Survey Jan 22 9168

Another survey from Famous 56 WFIL Philadelphia, this one from early 1968. American pop is making a comeback, there are only five British invasion songs on this survey. Local groups still make the chart like Barbara Mason and the Soul Survivors. And don't forget to order your Long John Wade niteshirt on the back!

  1. Great site- thanks for posting. I had a part time job at WFIL while attending St. Joseph's College just down the street (City Line Ave) from the station. I did news and sports re-writes for Jack Hyland who was the news director at the time. I enjoyed working with Long John Wade, George Michael and the rest of the "Boss Jocks".
